IPhone 6s connection

Is there a quick answer as to the right cable to connect an iPhone 6s to the RS4?
I was given a USB cable but it won't access media.
Had an RS5 before and I never really got to the bottom of which cable was right.
Any help much appreciated.

AMI is the only way to access media, that or via Bluetooth.

I use both, yellow cable via AMI gives you all audio in including full browsing of library via MMI and includes album artwork when connected to iPhone6s. When using BT you don't get album artwork of media browsing but you do get the audio.
Yellow cable part number is 4FO 051 AL 4414 VVL

No problem, happy to help.
I got given all the cables by Audi do when I took delivery of my B8.5 and use two, one for iPhone6S and the other for 160iPod classic.
The B9 has multiple USB ports like my T6 Caravelle and can connect multiple devices with libraries on and multiple phones via BT. I need this as the Caravelles have 2TB HDD attached with audio and podcasts in the library. Ad all that to Carplay and Virtual Cockpit, roll on B9 RS4!!!!
