Gents,
whats the latest out there regarding towbar options for the RS4?
Dont worry I'm not looking to tow a caravan, I would however like to use a towbar mounted bike rack.
I've done the usual search, but the posts are a bit old, wondered if anyone has had one fitted recently?

I tried the same thing, but to no avail
Audi won't fit one, and all the aftermarket companies I spoke to wouldn't either due to the car not being homologated to have a tow bar fitted, and them having to take legal liability if one failed

There's nowt stopping you fitting one yourself, I've done it on a B8 previously. You can order the Westfalia detachable bar (OE) from any towbar supplier. It's an afternoons work, bumper off, strip interior boot trim, drop back boxes and bolt it in. It does mean cutting the rear diffuser also though.
Cant see a problem if its for mounting a bike rack, if you had an accident whilst towing a caravan then thats another story as RS4 has never been homologated for towing.
