Booked my car in for its first service and was told it was due an aircon service. Has anyone had this done? Is it simply re gassing of the aircon?

That's trying it on in my opinion. Reward them by taking your business elsewhere.

Birmingham Audi. I'm guessing from the response that the car doesnt need it so soon?

Brum Audi, have you searched on here ref them? Pretty sure there have been issues in the past.
Have you thought of either Coventry Audi (on a45) or Stratford Audi? Stratford get praised by Eddie on here. Sure a member on here works at Cov Audi.

I basically rang my local stealers Brum, Tamworth and Halesowen. Brum where most competitve on price and didnt have to wait over a month for a loan car to be available. I'll be sure to research other dealers when i next need any work doing

I don't rate Halesowen personally. Them, Stafford, and Wolvo are very poor. Not heard anything about Tamworth though.
As said previously, Stratford-upon-Avon are meant to be very good and it's a nice drove down there too.

Call Stratford. Speak to James on service desk and you want special discounts as per my say so . Then speak to Nigel Spragg on sales. Tell Nigel I've sent you. Tell him you want to try the B9 S4 demo which happens to be the dealer principles car. Pm me if you like and I'll ring ahead for you.
Ps. DO NOT USE BRUM AUDI.

Nope, doing mine at 3 years with the Brake Fluid. Every 2 is a little excessive for aircon.

As with everything these day it's a question of warranty. If the air con failed before the warranty expired but after the 2 year recommended service would Audi refuse because it hadn't been done? Some dealers might do just that. Personally I align mine with the brake fluid .
