Quite like the look of this Rs
https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... ic/7230455

Looks like Nogaro, but dont know enough about the B8. I assumed you could only get a Noggy in the Nogaro edition.
Also what are the must have on these.Any info /help appreciated.Have contacted the dealer but no response.
Thanks in advance

Its Nogaro, but a pretty basic spec for the year unless they have missed loads off the add, the only extra can see or read are the wheels.

From the pictures it looks like it has the Sports Pack, Privacy Glass, Red Calipers, Matt aluminium styling pack (but weirdly it has the black styling pack grill frame!), and possibly the 3G high.

If somebody has spent £2k+ on the paint then I doubt it's low spec.

I think from what I can see the extras are: red callipers, leather with the grey piping, alloy styling pack, V spokes, sports pack and Nogaro blue.
So fairly basic.
Some of the nicer things to have I think are B&O, keyless entry, comfort pack, pan roof.
There are a few about so have a good look and decide what is important to you.

Just spotted it also has the reverse camera. So, the visible paid-for options so far are....

'Exclusive' Nogaro Paint
Sports Pack
Full Leather
Privacy Glass
Red Calipers
Reverse Camera
Matt Alu Styling Pack (with a retrofitted black grille)

...any more for any more?

This Noggy isn't the Nogaro selection edition FYI
although, it looks like a decent enough spec car with low miles.

It will need about £400 spent on it when it hits 20k so worth taking that into account,
Gearbox oil in front final drive, pollen and air filters.

No hill hold assist or keyless go but a lot of people didn't want that but the strange thing for me is that didn't add the B&O!

Knock them down a couple of grand if you can and you've got a really nice car.

Lack of B&O would be a showstopper (and was) for me

90% of cars had it when it was an option and standard on the later cars

I can see it doesn't have keyless entry pano roof, memory seats, adaptive cruise

Better spec cars will be easier to see secondhand

If you like it, buy it. You can spend far too long worrying about what it has or hasn't got or if it will hurt resale etc. Mine is bright green, never once have I worried about resale, I like it that's all that matters.

Many thanks for all your replies guys. It seems that its a decent enough spec bar the B&O.
Most important though is the colour to me.
Also handy to know about the service items that would need addressing soon.
I will try and contact the dealer, when i get a spare 5 mins at work.
Cheers

The option I didn't go for when I was choosing mine that I instantly regretted when the car was delivered. The standard system really is <beep>. If you spend a lot of time in the car and/or like music I strongly advise you wait for one with B&O, or put some money to one side for an aftermarket speaker/amp upgrade.

I also didn't go for the pan roof. I personally wasn't bothered, but when it came to trade in every dealer I spoke to said they would have given me £500+ more if it had the pan roof because it's the one option everybody wants. 2 dealers even refused to consider the p/x due to the lack of Pan Roof. As these cars get older they do become very spec sensitive, so make sure you knock them down for the lack of pan roof, else you will struggle in a few years time when you come to sell.

Heated Front Seats is the only other spec item that I can see, in addition to your list.

For new comers, it's also worth noting that the vehicle is a MY2014 example, so will have gained MMI Nav Plus, DAB and Electric Tailgate spec options to the standard stuff. Overall, the specification is still on the lean side having gone for more aesthetic orientated ones.
