I can only see one on the first page of the classifieds. Are they so good that no one ever sells them on?

I think its just the time in the cycle. People tend to swap them from new after 2 or 3 years - that's the bulk of them already on their 2nd owners now

Think a lot of the guys trade them in instead of the hassle ! Not many buyers around the 40k mark want to buy private ! Or individuals leaving themselves up for possible fraud at this level ! What Aberdeen Audi wants for mine is cheap compared to others of this mileage spec but they haven't sold it yet so maybe markets not that strong right now

I agree. I think at that value and with the current climate most are being traded in or going to tootle etc.

I did buy mine private, i preferred it as you meet the owner and get a good feel for how well the car has been looked after.
Plus you don't pay the rather large dealer mark up. Mine is still in factory warranty so i had no need to pay the extra.
You do have to be careful though especially with the amount of money involved.

They're just so good to drive, listen to and look at. They tick so many boxes and are such a nice environment to be in. You could look at Fontain motors on Auto trader, they do thorough checks etc and supply the car without further expenses but do add a premium for that. I got mine from GC Motors in Harrogate as they offered fantastic customer service.

Flexy on choice of car as long as correct history, Audi warranty remaining, pan roof and most of the other options sports, b&o, etc

That eBay one is a little inaccurate in the description.

BOSE was never available on the B8 - it was a previous generation B7 option and was replaced by Bang & Olufsen as the B8 audio option. That vehicle doesn't have B&O and there's also no such option as Technology Package Advanced either.

Coming from a B7, I'd suggest trying to find one with Advanced Key, as you get keyless entry and more importantly get the Start Button back, which all B7's had as standard. To me that was part of the RS4 experience and also having keys/fobs swinging from the dash is an irritant. Another feature worth finding is the Hill Hold Assist, if you do a fair amount driving in traffic, it will save you from keeping a foot on the brake when stationary. HHA might be retrofitable at reasonable cost, however Advanced Key isn't.

Wouldn't know how bill ! Technophobe ! go through Audi used car locator or Aberdeen Audi ! It's nogaro blue lovely car sports pack b&o convenience pack silk napa etc it's very fairly priced considering what similair mileage spec cars are selling for and of all the Audi dealerships I been in these guys were a pleasure to deal with .
If it floats your boat ask for Craig Sherrif and say I sent ya decent team all round it doesn't say on there add but it does have the 5 yr warranty 2.5 remaining
