I have been on the hunt for a few months now, not called or seen this one yet http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 500&page=3 it's almost the right spec that I am after

Was discussed here last week. Somebody was going to have a look at it?
Looks a great combo car and if I was buying straight away would be on my list

Been talking with the gentleman who viewed it and he's decided that it's just not quite, the right car for him.

Good spec, extended warranty, new brakes and tyres and a tracker. I doubt you will find many better.

As I haven't seen the car myself, I don't think it’s right to share publicly.

Yes it was Martyn, didn't want to force you into the limelight so was quite happy to be the middle man.

40k is a lot for a 2014 with 30k on the clock. Its a nice spec, buts its only going to sell to someone who ONLY wants Daytona/optics/buckets (ie. that exact combination)

Audi were selling RS4s new pre-reg and unreg for 45k in 2015 after all - although I agree not all in as high spec

As mentioned in another thread yesterday, there's newer cars (2015) with less miles for less money on Audi Approved (again, not all to this spec)

Opening poster - one trick you could try is to call a few dealers / go online to WBAC / Tootle to see what they would value this car at if you were selling. Would give you an idea how much the current owner would get for it during say a px against a new Audi. I bet the majority of bids (with the possible exception of Tootle) would be closer to 30k than 40k.

In fact, Audi now have a 'value my px' tool on their website (although I have to say the valuation it gave when swapping the family A3 last summer was optimistically high online!)

WBAC put it at £32770.
