Spare Wheel

Morning all,

So, after an issue with a pothole and the tyre wall de-laminating producing a golf ball size lump I now have a spare 20" tyre with around 4mm left on it. I fitted two new tyres to replace both on the same axle equally. My thoughts are that I will get a used alloy, fit the tyre to it and keep it as an emergency spare in the garage in case anything like it happens again.

Currently have 20" V Spokes fitted and the only ones I can find (at non dealer new price) on Ebay seem to all be buckled. Does anybody know the correct size of the OEM 20" V Spokes or indeed what other 20" genuine wheels are a direct swap?

Ta very much.....

Adam

Standard specs are 9" wide with an offset of 26. There are no vag wheel i have found that are exactly the same other than the RS5 rotor

I've done the same, have a wheel in the garage and on long journeys I carry it about. I am planning on buying 3 more to make a whole set of rotors so I can refurb my V-spokes.

If it's only for a spare, you could also use the 10 spoke 19" wheel which is standard on the RS4 (with 265/35R19 tyre)

Geoff, is your spare a 20" rotor then or a V Spoke?

20" rotor, I need another 3 to make a winter set but this single one will do as a spare for now.

I wanted a set of the 19" 10 spoke that were the standard fitment on the RS4 but they are very rare as hardly anyone ordered them.
