I have been driving the RS4 quite happily for 3 months but today noted the tyre sealant is missing. On 20 inch alloys, what size can should be present and do you guys/girls only carry one? Is there a preferred brand?

There should be an Audi bottle in the boot, its useless though. If you use it and it doesn't seal the trye not only are you stranded but you will need a new tyre, even if it was repairable before you put the sealant in. I was advised to get the compressed gas/foam version for £10 from Halfords instead of replacing the Audi bottle.

I now have a spare wheel I carry in the boot.

The VWAG part number is 8E0 012 619 A and is cheaper when you buy from a Skoda dealer rather than Audi (Skoda £29, Audi £52), its the same item. I purchased one just so the kit in the boot was complete, I'll never use it again.

So have you gone for a full alloy spare or a steel temporary jobbie?
I dont like the idea of having to bin a tyre because it's had squirty cream inside it. I think I may go a similar route to you.

Full original alloy wheel. its a start to my winter set also. I'll have 8 wheels by the end of it, 5 always with the car.

Car came with v-spokes, rotors are my winter choice as easier to clean.

Sorry if I am being dull. Is that on cost grounds or is it a better product?

This was recommended becasue it would work, the Audi parts department confirm the Audi product is useless. I sourced a complete spare 20" wheel.
