Those TT gen 3 wheels are a bargain! One wheel from Audi would normally retail at that price incl centre cap incl vat. So a set of four all inclusive is ridiculous. If anything, it makes me pissed off what Audi charge for one wheel if we have a little prang....

My dad is currently going through the debate of which tyres to fit after we picking up a set of OEM 8V A3 alloys and caps locally.

The TT wheel set above - "5 Arm 225/50 R17 98H XL" - H rating is 130 mph

He's scared of putting H rated tyres on (130 mph) due to the risk of the insurers getting fussy if the car is involved in a total loss, saying the tyres fitted are sub standard compared to what it left the factory on (summers are Y rating I think). Difficult call. I had the same debate years ago on my S4, had the option of H, went for V rating in the end, 149 mph. Trouble is, the tyres we are currently looking at (the new Nokia WR A4 which replace the WR A3) aren't available in V rating..... yet (only a few sizes have been released so far because the tyre has only just gone on sale)

Do Audi offer the option to store your summer wheels during the winter? I don't have a garage

I know Ipswich Audi offer a "tyre hotel" over the winter for your summer wheels, they price to change and store the wheels for you.

Makes sense if you haven't got the space at home.

Bought an RS4 a few weeks back and just bought these wheels. Very grateful for you making me aware. Men in Brown delivering them later in the week

I know Audi charge high prices, but £2658.00 retail price would be impressive for ONE wheel and tyre. £10,632 for a set.

Likely these are just last winters stock and Audi want to get shot

Did in fact receive four wheels and four new tyres

Very slight mark on two of the wheels either from storage or shipping but still very pleased

Any chance of some pics as I'm keen to get a set myself. These were about £1300 as a set about a year ago so seems like they have old stock to shift.

This is one of the wheels. Sorry to say but I don't think Stansted have any for sale
