I couldn't believe the previous owner had not given it a go! My brother who was in the car asked if i could drive backwards for a bit to put all of his organs back where they belong Image

It's great isn't it! I've done it a total of...

Twice!

Tried it with the wife in the car, left the hill hold assist on. Didn't work! Looked a knob.

Having broken 1 gearbox, with a recorded total of zero launches. I'm very reluctant to try out the feature.

Does it scrabble off the line a bit?

There's a thread I'd read in the rs5 section saying it bogs down a bit.

It bogs down a bit! But still great fun. And the grip level is still amazing, it didn't skip at all.

Not to sound daft, but how do you activate the launch control?

I didn't hear any tyre squeal and it went a lot quicker than when you just floor it in sport.

@chandler99. Turn off ESC, make sure hill hold is off, put it in sport, left foot hard in the brake, right foot hard in the gas - let go of the brake when you are good to go

So... From memory...

Turn off hill hold assist. Turn off the first level of TC. Press left foot on brake, right foot on accelerator.

Release right foot :)

Now that's why it didn't work with the wife in the car! :)

Ha ha yep, definitely remove brake not accelerator! Good spot ;)
