I had a rattle emanating from the roof area above the drivers head. It would happen with the shade blind in both forwards and retracted positions, yet strangely if you put the sunroof into the tilted position. It would go.
So Audi tried a new cable and guide set but this didn't cure the problem. In the end it was decided to try a new sunroof frame, this was ordered and then fitted. Voila...rattle now gone. Hope that may help anyone suffering a similar problem, or at least encourage you to get it fixed under warranty. As I'd imagine the cost to be quite expensive.
