Who's running what size? And what's your preference? Please vote and comment. I'm about to put new boots on and would appreciate peoples thoughts.

This would be my third set, past 2 have been MPSII's & I can't fault them at all..... It will be the same again or possibly supersports, I'm not looking to change brands thats for sure. However, I'm more interested in feedback re widths.

Got MPSll on now but had Bridgestone before I like them more could not hold of superports at time see if got them next time round if still making them not selling car yet then?

I don't see why you'd change the width other than from a purely cosmetic point of view. Pretty sure you'd be hard pushed to notice any extra grip from 275s on a car like the RS4 that has already plenty of grip. Don't forget it will change your rolling radius slightly which means speedo errors (although this is will be minimal) and you will also increase rolling resistance which might be good for going round corners but is bad for acceleration.

I had 275's on my b7 they look beefy, but you will find the inner edge wears more rapidly
They also aqua plane more through standing water, I would stick to the standard size, michelins too

With these cars been 4 wheel drive, is there any benefit to changing all 4 tyres at the same time? the rears have worn close to the limit but the fronts are still around 4mm..

I'm getting new wheels and they are 9.5x20.

So I should move to 275 widths.

Can anyone see any issues with simply swapping my 265 off the existing wheels until they need switching?

Several tyre manufacturers list a rim width range of 9"(min) to 10" (max) for 265/30R20 tyres with an optimum width of 9.5" so you should be absolutely fine running your existing 265s on the new 9.5" rim.

For your further piece of mind, I'm running 265/30R20 stock Pirelli PZeros on 20"x10" rims and they are fine with little/zero stretch:

MPS all the way. Had them on my old A7. Can't wait until the P-Zeros wear out.

Spotted a black one in Bicester, the car was gleaming, freshly polished. Upon further drooling spotted it had Nankang tyres!!!!! Just wrong

Just FYI - Nankang NS2R's and AR1's are bloody awesome tyres. The AR1's are better than 888's... I'd wager the RS4 wasn't on those of course, but not ALL Nankangs are poor.

Each to their own, tried a set on a 120d. Replaced after a month.

Didn't want to stick around too long around the area just in case it span into me whilst attempting to corner.

Just because you can't handle the power of a 120d, don't go blaming shitty tyres!

Vredesteins are ones I would look at also, but I've been offered a nice deal on some Super Sports, so I'm going for these instead.
