Front Brake Discs thickness

Good Morning to all
I have measured my brake discs last night and they show 31.5mm of thickness.
I believe audi recommend 32.4mm minimum.
However car drives sweet, brakes are sharp, no vibration, no warping, all as it should be.
Pads have plenty of life in them, looks like freshly changed not long ago.
Should I bother changing them?
Are there any symptoms that tells me to change them apart from audi advice which in most cases is a try to rip us off the big time?
Any advice?
Many thanks
Martin

iirc the minimum thickness is stamped on the disc.
Personally, and it's just me, I'd probably leave it until the next pad change or I felt some judder. But if you do that and die a horrible slow death from being in a ditch upside down, don't sue me.

Haha
I won't mate no worries.
I was thinking exactly the same.
I'm not sure why those discs have only 1.6mm wear tolerance on them?
Audi s4 discs with same engine and weight have 30mm new discs
BMW m3 M4 have either 32 or 30mm new discs.
So running the current discs I have down a bit shouldn't make any difference to braking performance at all.
For me all it is, is a money making by manufacturers.
Any other opinions?

Stick to the manufacturer spec, if they specify a minimum thickness then adhere to it, ignore it at your peril. I have just had pads, I'll be heading towards minimum thickness at the next pad change, probably not past it, I will however put disks on if I am getting close. If I reach minimum thickness before pads I'll replace the lot.

Interesting read on RS6 forum.
Thanks for opinions guys
I will run the pads down to null and consider the discs change.
