Sensible Car .... Seriously ?

I have just sold a C63 507 Edition and put myself in this beautiful RS4. My neighbour pops his head round the other day and says " I see you have finally grown up and bought a sensible car " ?
Calmley, I just looked at him and offered him a spin up the road, which he accepted. Needless to say, once we got back, I had to assist his trembling pale body, out of my heated bucket seat, and rub his back for him whilst he threw up all over his garden !
To describe these cars as " a wolf in sheep`s clothing" is a huge understatement ! I thought the Merc was a rush but, OMG , when this thing comes on song it`s a beast !
I was half expecting to de disappointed going from one to the other, but I was OH SO wrong !!

I agree with your neighbour! Very sensible!
2 dogs in the boot? - check!
3 kids in the back? -check!
2 bikes on the roof? -check!
Near quite ride at 69mph with valves closed? -semi-check

Fold the seats and this thing becomes a van - check.
Better for the environment on short runs than diesel? -check!

Haha, that poor git. I'd be plotting revenge if I were him!
My B7 is extremely sensible.
Until I don't want it to be...

Ha Ha ! Check !
Then with a simple flick of the shifter and a little more weight on the go pedal.......BOOM !

It is sensible, I also had the C63 and that was larey and a lot faster but munched through tyres as they were easy to smoke and was deadly in the ice and snow.
The B8.5 RS4 is a lot tamer but a great all year round car, Ive had mine from new and it'll be replaced by a B9 or an RS6.

I imagine it was the speed through the bends that made his neighbour sick rather than outright acceleration.

I've had loads of races with a Mate who has a c63
Believe me there's hardly any difference in them, he pulls away only a very small distance, once the twisty stuff comes, I'm off
