Re: Upgrade air filters
May aswell just use the OEM filters and change them every 6months.
You'll see the same "performance" benefit....

This!! You will never notice the difference unless you throw the kitchen sink at a b8May aswell just use the OEM filters and change them every 6months.

Just like the b7
Re: Upgrade air filters
That I would say is debatable. Using both from new is clearly not going to produce the same benefit, a high air flow filter will let more air in from the start, which lets face it, on a 4.2ltr na lump crammed into a small space, is a good thing. Unless I have misunderstood your comment?Andy947 wrote:May aswell just use the OEM filters and change them every 6months.

Re: Upgrade air filters
Exactly, I'd say the gains are even less on the B8 compared against the B7. Audi have maximised this production cycle of engine now, which is re-affirmed when MRC can only get around a 14 bhp increase from remap & filters.RIV wrote:This!!
