Audi connect 3G or 4G?

Hi does anyone know if I need a 3 G or 4G card, dealer doesn't know!

surely either will work, but 4G will be quicker so go with 4G. I can't remember what i have in mine to be honest however

But if it is only 3G and you buy 4G SIMs then you are potentially paying more for a service you will never use.

Pre FL was 3G only, LTE only available with FL.

Yes, LTE = 4G....if you're in a C7 FL!

User error B8 was 3G.

B8.5 RS4 are 3G only, a 4G card will work but only at 3G rate so dont waste the extra money.

Correct, it's a hardware limitation.

Any advice appreciated. Vodafone sim was working fine, I then registered for Audi connect and it won't recognise pin and no online services work?

Silver7 I'm using a '3' data sim with online services but can't find out where to enter the pin. Maybe don't want to enter it!
