Boff's fault

Post by Afsimba » Mon Nov 16, 2015 9:30 pm

So after the current rs6 boff topic and rs6 discount topic on c7 forum I have to seriously consider cutting my losses and making the leap !! I don't need a bigger car or more room as I have no dogs wife or children , but I just don't think the 4 is remotely fast ! But don't necessarily want the attention of a V10 R8 I really should have bought one instead of the 4 but felt at 79 k basic for a car that would cover 5-6 k miles a year just too rich , that and I don't earn mega money but it's a year old now and I have already spent 6 grand between a capristo and Rs6 brakes and calipers less than 500 miles ago ( can't help myself ) that I feel I should have bought one !! Albeit poverty spec I have just been through the brochure and can't actually justify any extras I would actually want apart from wheels and possibly black pack ( why can't you spec this on black car ) I'm not a techy I don't do mega motorway miles ,the sports exhaust would probably never be enough for me the carbon pack looks awesome but can't justify ! Am I making a knee jerk irrational decision as I often do or does this make sense comments from people who have made change greatly appreciated and what's a year old nogaro car with b&o capristo Rs6 brakes balance of 5 yr warranty silk Napa rock grey and sports pack convenience pack and homelink worth ? Prob few things I missed 6500 miles

Ha - it is also my own fault as to why I've got one ordered! Bugger.

What I would say is that the RS4 and RS6 get the same amounts of looks and cred on the road, so no worries there for you.

I like EPIC and my RS4 is Ltd edition, and EPIC. the RS6 perf - I just didn't want to miss out on another Epic.

OK sensible head, my 4 is getting too small - we are having to leave stuff at relatives, Christmas is a nail biter, can't fit in a dog, or another baby, and I did get the buckets (which I love) but now my 7 year old is asking me to move my seat forwards, and I'm 6ft; so close to the backstops on the seat.

I am planning for the need, I don;t have the need today - if I was a single man with loadsa dosh though, i'd be lost - but the 6 is cool, as is the 4, as is the r8
Zero Drama
