Warning Light Melt Down

Post by 535dboy » Thu Jul 16, 2015 8:20 am

My car is in the dealer at the minute having had the new windscreen fitted and all the gubbins (lane assist and ACC ) recalibrated etc

I also brought to their attention that probably 3 or 4 times in the 2.5 years I've had the car, it has flipped out with the following messages and warning lights coming up (there may have been more than listed)

Active steering malfunction
Active Diff malfunction
Stability control malfunction
ACC malfunction..............

Dealer not seen this so they have sent the reports off to Germany who are taking an age to respond to them.

Loosing patience slightly because it is not happening enough to worry about at the minute but thought I should mention it to them and my loan car is currently this...viewtopic.php?f=103&t=116100&p=746662#p746662

My range rover sport used to this; in the end it was down to a faulty earthing point feaking out the computers. It will get worse; if they can't help you this time - do what i did; next time either video or photo the fault happening with your smartphone.

Thanks for the advice.

It has been logged so they have sent data to Audi Germany so waiting for their feedback.

Based on what you have said I hope the same mouse hasn't got in this car that got in the lotus. The Audi can lie around for a week or so unused if I am using one of the others.
