Sorry to be debbie downer, but holy crap that's expensive.

Does look nice but can get a (better spec) unregistered car for substantially less - and 4.9% finance on new too.

It is indeed a beauty albeit "expensive". Now the books have closed and stock is depleting it's simple supply and demand.

There are hundreds of unregistered cars still available though - that's my point. No one is going to spend £66k on used car (albeit just one former keeper and demo miles) when you can get a new one with a higher spec for £7k+ less...

Maybe this would command this money when the new stock dries up but that's 6+ months away...

Where can I see all these new unregistered cars? I can see a few more on pistonheads than on autotrader but I'm guessing there are more about. Audi website only shows 2nd hand cars or ones you can still order i.e. not the rs4.
Saw an rs6 I like on PH which is not even my perfect spec but they have a price tag on it of 101k!!!

Go into an Audi dealer and ask what's available in UK stock... That's all I did.

Do they only know about the ones within their group or across the whole of Audi uk?

That I can't answer. Mine came from group stock (another dealer, same group obv). James my salesman did imply he had access to "hundreds" of new stock vehicles though, which I suspect weren't just group.

The dealer can access the order database, which will show if it's a customer order a dealer stock
However, for a certain franchise group to get a car from another franchise group, it takes them to deal between themselves, which normally means costs, so they'll always try and put you into a car within their group first
Some simply won't deal with another too as they're a funny bunch
