I doubt anybody would want to swap but would put it out there!

Anybody interested in swapping there bucket seats for some super sports and cash there way? The missus keeps saying she slides around in the seats, I did tell her to put some weight on now you could all guess the reaction that I got :bash:

Any takers?

Keep your super sports seats!! I had a loan car recently with buckets and hated them! All personal preference, I know, but the super sports seats are a vast improvement over the similar comfort seats in the B7. Somehow though, I don't think you will have many takers....
Because the sass are all electric, I'm not sure whether the wiring to the seats will be the same even if you did find someone to swap...

***ignore the comment below...appologies***

Pretty certain the connectors are the same, it will need some re-coding with VCDS software as the fat boy seats  have additional airbags. Bucket seats will make the interior feel a bit more special, hold the 'Mrs' tighter and cars fitted with them sell quicker come re-sale time. If you fancy being a trailblazer, a good compromise maybe the B8 RS4's Super Sport seats and trying to get those to work instead

Sam are you talking about a B7? This is the B8 forum so I'm assuming he has a B8 and already has the B8 super sports seats.

No recoding. Just airbag resistors

Yes Mike you're quite right, I was not paying attention to the forum I was replying within whilst trying to get dinner ready. Well spotted

I see, I also seen that you have done the same mod to one of your old rs5s, have you any idea what the part number maybe or where I could get some from? :)

They certainly feel special....

Makes the car an art to get into; are very comfortable - but I've had to lose weight to enjoy them!!!

And then there's the super nervousness about the leather and stitching splitting.

BUT I do absolutely love mine.

I have a solution for the stitching and leather rubbing place a thin towel across the bolster at the drivers side tuck it in to the plastic and then a seat cover over the top for extra protection!, this is just day to day use then if I was going somewhere special, meal, wedding, show or something along those lines just take the cover and towel off and they look as good as new
