Anyone got any suggestions for aftermarket replacement brake pads for wavy steels?

Audi want near on £500 to replace the fronts and I figure there must be some decent alternatives on the market for the same as / less than that? (Hopefully!).

arent the pads for the wavy discs the same as the pads for the non wavy discs?
I have just paid 886 to have new pads and discs fitted to my rs5. I knocked the dealer down!

DIY
It really is a simple task, knock out the pins, lift off the metal plates, pull out old pads, grease the back of the new ones and fit plates and pins

Literally a 30mins task for both sides, including wheels off and on

I go to a trusted independent for brakes, tyres and other consumables and reckon I save around 30% over the main dealer. I have done this with Porsche, Astons and AMG's (all under warranty) for years with no problem at all and I insist on OEM parts.
