Is it worth the money?

Around £65k but does come with a good spec. On "Broadspeed" you can get one for £57k.

What are Audi discounts like nowadays?

I've been out the loop for a while and just testing the waters.

There's no performance gains or any numbering to show its a limited edition from what I can see. You do get some exclusive interior styling on the steering wheel and bucket seats which is a nice touch.

The rest is choice options from the normal options list which you can spec yourself from a normal car.

Discounts still decent at the moment. 12-13% is very achieveable

Holy thread resurrection! I'm looking at RS4's and have a few leads on a special edition not quite yet built. I've been offered a 10% discount even though Audi "aren't allowed to discount them" just wondering what the general consensus is re VFM etc. It has bucket seats, 174mph top speed etc. Dreaded DRC though

I've bought one - mine with spec came at £69.5k List.

Reason I bought one is in the vain attempt to preserve some depreciation (I'm funding externally from Audi).

You've gotta be careful with the colour combos, I reckon - Panther, Mythos, and Missano will suit it. Calendula Yellow on the inside is for the hard-core massive - Epsom have a great one of those coming in, ask for stephen reed


Watford Audi have got a fully loaded one coming in which sounds nice (ask for Chris). When you add up what you get in the Brochure the saving is massive BUT - mine is simply coming with more options than I would have spec'd on a normal car.

When I spec'd up a non Ltd, it worked out 1k list less than the ltd I have bought - but Audi were much happier to discount a non ltd car more, so I've ended up paying a little more than a no ltd car.

I'm pretty excited about mine now!!! lol - it's going to be a lot of what I wouldn't have ordered, I hope it makes me feel younger!!! ah ha - I mean for example the seats are in the brochure at 2k, and then the exclusive pack that goes on it is £6k, and that's before you even look into the B&O, Wheels, Carbon Engine Cover, speed limiter etc etc

Std vs. Ltd Like for Like

I must be bored bored bored bored waiting waiting waiting.

So I've done some maths, I've taken the Audi Brochure, and then done a like for like calculation.

With both cars at list price, and no extra goodies, to build a Ltd Edition Car using the Non Ltd car as the base spec would cost you an extra £7570

Wether thats a bargain or not is down to if you value the options, as I said I would't have normally spec'd them - but now I've bought it, I'm excited to see what I get, that;s the other thing, you simply cannot find decent images of what the options look like - a bit of a surprise....

There's no exclusive interior options, so other than lobbing in a few extra options, not a lot different.
