Hi All
Saying Hi from Bournemouth!
I'm a refugee from a Mercedes A45 - feels like a step up now!
Here's the "Blue Beast":

Nice car, it's a step up in some ways from an A45 but a step back in other areas, steering being one of them
They are like chalk and cheese to compare I guess

I'm not licking the Audi's arse, it's your comments of the A45 being great, as if it's fact rather than just your subjective opinion, which seem to be creeping in more and more as your love affair with the RS4 comes to an end. For what it's worth I've driven an A45 extensively and I thought it was utter <beep>, fake feel, uninvolving and stale. I'd take a m135i or Golf R over it everyday of the week, and i'd certainly take my RS over one. But that's just my opinion it's not fact.
Just because you are fortunate to have something, it doesn't make you factually right with an opinion all the time (look at the ceramics thread for another example).
The guy has just bought a new car and is happy, and what happens, the first response he gets is you wading in pissing on his chips with an opinion, as if it's fact.
