For you guys who use a load/ boot liner, can you recommend one for me?

I cart my dog and a buggy around, so I need side and floor protection, as well as a fold out flap to protect the bumper when the dog gets in & out. Ideally it'll also protect the back of the back seats, but that's not a 100% essentia. The Audi reversible floor mat can be retrofitted, but it comes in at £250 buying it thought the parts dept, and it's not great by all accounts. With that in mind I'm looking for other options inc aftermarket.

Hatchbag bootliners are excellent, I have one in my B8 S4 avant and have 2 Labradors so needed something that covered the whole boot. You should be able to get one for less than £200 including a bumper flap.

You can get very good, well fitting liners that protect all sides, boot floor and back of rear seats with a roll out flap to protect the top of the bumper when the dog gets in. Resistant to spillages too. Don't have any links but Google is your friend. Pretty sure they all came in a good bit less than £100 too, so makes the Audi reversible floor mat look poor value.

£120 seems to be what I need to spend, however the descriptions on the site aren't very clear. Do you know what the difference is between the 'standard' and the 'plus'?

Also it seems to rely quite a bit on Velcro to attach, is there much sticking to be done on the A4, or does it take into consideration the various hooks etc where possible?

+1 for the Hatch Bag. I got one when I bought the B7 Avant and it's been great. Mine has the split for partial/whole rear seat drop, the boot protection flap and it lines the inside of the boot lid up to the window. I also opted for the thick rubber base so stuff doesn't slide around as much. I've had all sorts in there without a second thought. Really easy wipe clean. The only real downside is you can't use the floor hooks - the ones the cargo net clips onto. The high hooks (shopping bags) remain. I'd buy the same for future cars.

I agree. I think the "hatchbag plus" bootliners allow you to fold the seats down
with it in place which is handy for skip runs
