Random misfire

Had a random misfire and check engine light flashing for a few seconds yesterday.

Took it to Audi and they found no logged fault.

It felt like a coil pack.

Anyone else had this at all ?

Was it not up to temp and just hitting the lower limiter? Mine did this the other day and confused me for a bit... Wasn't pushing on that hard but got a bit of a surprise!

It wasn't up to temp thinking about it and it was exactly like when you hit the limiter, I had indeed just put my foot down but previously I've never seen the yellow check engine light come on when you hit the limit.

Perhaps I'll just put it down to that then and that I've just missed any light previously as I've been overtaking when it's happened so no looking down at the dash.
