Service Interval
I've used the search but can't find an answer to this question:
What would you recommend / what did you opt for on new RS4?
I am expecting to do 10k a year, could be a little more but only by a few 1000.
Mileage will be a mix of Motorway 75%, B roads 25% plus 2 or 3 track days a year.
Do you request the service schedule prior to delivery or is it something that is just set up on the car computer?
I also have the variable that Audi UK have offered me a couple of free services as way of goodwill for messing my order up slightly (wheels on car are Rotors not V spokes). If I only do 30K miles in the 3 years I will only use 1 of those services so it seems best to opt for the more regular service interval?

Re: Service Interval
dont think your going to get the option its just whatever the dealer decides (might even be factory set),off the top of my head its something like 1yr or 9000mls oil service and 2yrs 20000 mls inspection service which also includes a oil and filter change although these figures will change depending how you drive itcopperband wrote:I've used the search but can't find an answer to this question:

Re: Service Interval
Interesting, so is the Service indicator "dynamic", i.e. Actually telling the driver when the car needs servicing according to driving style, etc?

Re: Service Interval
I always thought the "variable" simply referred to the number of miles or days as opposed to how the car is being driven?

Re: Service Interval
Internally it's basically a fixed quantity of fuel calculated by Audi between services based on certain assumptions.copperband wrote:I always thought the "variable" simply referred to the number of miles or days as opposed to how the car is being driven?
Start driving in town or using lots of throttle and high revs then the service indicator will naturally drop accordingly. Simple but generally effective

Re: Service Interval
8600 miles and 1st service due.....and it now tells me each time I get in and out of the car. How do you tell it you've booked it in for next week so no need to remind me??
