Well having had the winters on for a while and as the weather is getting a bit warmer my Vs went back on today - £25 at local tyre place, thank you very much.
Well I did over 3k miles in them and didn't hold back yet they've got between 6-7mm left. I reckon I'll have them for the life of the car at that rate. I mainly bought them for my road trip to Switzerland and hoped for some snow over here (bet it'll snow now they are off).
In the single digit temperatures I really noticed the difference in them first thing in the AM but they did get a bit squirmy in the early double digits when pushing.
Way prefer the look of the Vs.....

Re: Winter Tyres or Chains for a Roadtrip to Switzerland..video
Does anybody know if there are any all season tyres available in the standard 20" size (265/30R20)? I don't seem to be able to find any at all. I don't have space to keep a set of proper winters. Thanks

Kofsw4, we put a full set of Yokohama all season tyres on our mondeo, they are 18” but should go up to 20”, pretty descent tyres for money. Try your local fitters?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know which model? I checked Yokohama's website and putting in the tyre size only brings back three models, 2 of which are described as 'Sport' and the other 'Track'

Have failed miserably to find any kind of all season tyres in low profile 20".
Long shot but don't suppose anybody vaguely south east would be up for lending me their winter rims/wheels for 10 days / 1500 miles in April in return for a contribution towards their next set?
