RS4 with Adv.1 ADV08 Track Spec wheels

Post by BMW2RS4 » Sat Oct 18, 2014 6:46 pm

Don't want to hijack Prestige Wheel Centre's original thread of the Adv.1 ADV08 TS on my RS4 so have created a new post with my own images, hopefully, to demonstrate that these rims do have some concavity than is evident from the previous images.

1662

1663

1664

For info, wheel specs are 20 x 10 ET27 all round with 265/30 r20. RS4 is lowered on KW adjustable Coilover Springs

Cheers

I still wonder why the RS4 and the RS5 have different width tyres on?

From my research, the RS5 has a wider track but also a significantly wider body width which can accommodate a larger tyre size; I would assume that is the reason.

Sweet cheers buddy. Quite like the wheels in the pics but would have to reserve final judgement until I saw them in the flesh :)

Looking good! The final touches and the attention to detail on every ADV design looks great, love the way the spokes are giving an illusion as if they're floating on this spec. Good stuff

Did you experience any creaking from the KW height adjustable springs?
Car looks great btw

How do you find the ride quality with the kw springs?
I'm not 100% convinced by the H&R's

No creaking at all, even at the bottom of their adjustment. Tbh, the KWs have behaved themselves perfectly (touch wood!) and seem to work really well with the DRC.

Thanks for the compliment btw; I'm really pleased with the way it has turned out.

The ride quality is slightly stiffer than stock. From my experience of comparing H&R springs with the KW coilover system on my previous BMW, I would say that the ride between the two was about the same. On the other hand, the Eibachs that I also had fitted were less stiff and closer to stock but gave 10mm less of a drop.

Ok thanks, I've got my car booked in after Christmas to have the DRC pressures checked, maybe this is my problem
