My worst ever tank of fuel was week three of ownership and a day at Vmax, where I got circa 75 miles before needing to refuel

75 from a tank!!!!!!
I'm not sure the half a tank i'll get tomorrow will see me through the afternoon school run, dropping the lad at drum lessons then off to the super market with the daughter. I'm sure they'll be as eager as me to listen to the exhaust note every 2 seconds.

It was 15-20 runs up to 165-170mph on a three mile runway

Arh I can see why you only managed 75 miles in that case. Well I've been driving my 2014 2.0 TDI A6 saloon in sport mode for the last three days to try and burn fuel quickly before I hand it back. The RS4 was purchased on Monday when I took the A6 for it's first service. I couldn't help it

Seems reasonable. Go for a service, come back with a new RS4
My wife hates that I make decisions in such a knee jerk fashion
