B8 purchase...

Hi all, currently have B7 which I am seriously considering upgrading to a B8. Im not interested in any of the 'B8 not as good as B7' talk, just want to know which options people consider to be must have, and some general advice. I am not looking at new. Audi Approved Used around the £45-50,000 mark is what Im after. Options I must have;

Sports pack (exhaust, steering, DRC)?
DAB radio
Bang & olufsen
black or grey
black optics

Which options have I missed that are must haves? Advice please!

That seems to be a good must have spec anyway,
Bucket seats/ not for everyone!
Tech pack is quite a good option
privacy glass, again not everyone likes it
they come pretty loaded so its all really down to what you prefer,
I would say though with that spec you've added your looking at around £60,000 New, with the discounts that'll be around £52,000, worth a thought!

Cant have buckets, as I must have memory seats which rant available with buckets. Would rather not have privacy glass as I would have all the windows tinted a light smoke. So what benefits does the tech pack get me? Im not bothered about having TV in the car......

If you only read the one sentence in my post, make it this one- please test drive a car with and without dynamic steering.
And i mean test drive properly on roads you're used too.
If i was buying again, Id omit the sport pack just to avoid DS and buy the other items separately. Its £2k versus £4k but its the one part of the car that makes me feel at some point in the future Ill buy a b7 as a second car as I really miss mine.

Audi hill hold assist for £65 is a bit of a no brainer.
The auto headlight function is quite cool too ( can't recall the price of that)
Panoramic sunroof really lightens the interior up, especially if you go for a dark interior.
Audi High connect with the data connection allows google earth imagery overlaid onto the map, and makes up for audi poor graphics. The bit i really like is that you can search for a location on google maps, then send it to the car. When you get in, you recall the destinations and et viola its there! ( Note if you have an iPhone you can't use its data connection or text messages, apple blame audi, audi blame apple, but EE do a 6 month unlimited data sim card for £20)

I went for panther black with the aluminium styling pack, as Id seen one in daytona gray and didn't think it suited the B8.
Having now seen another B8 with black optics since my purchase, I would go for daytona grey this time.

.
To be honest, I've driven a car without the Dynamic steering and it's no better than the dynamic set up, that slightly dead straight ahead the last little bit of feedback is still missing compared to the B7, you just lose the variability in the ratio, which I actually quite like

Depending on how long you intend to keep the car, but sports pack is going to be pretty key come selling on time and I suspect a lot of dealers and/or private buyers will be looking for it. May not be an issue for you, but worth considering just in case

I think the spec of my car is all good minus maybe a few extras that you might not want to add
Top speed de restriction being one them, carbon engine pack nice to look but maybe not worth the money, I have no open air roof or power tailgate, mainly to keep the weight of the car down, at the end of the day it's a matter of personal choice

Top speed increase is a bit if a waste IMHO as the car sails straight past it's 155 limit anyway - as we know Silas ;)

Exactly that very spot ;)
On a serious note though, not sure it would get much past 174mph anyway
Get that charger though, and you'll be up in the 190's I'd expect
