Normal vs sport exhaust

I'm considering a used RS4 (B8) and have found one that has all options I want except the sport exhaust. I'm driving an RS3 atm and love the extra exhaust note the 3 provides when pushing the sport button. I don't want to modify the RS4 to void the warranty (2.5 years left).
How is the normal (stock) vs sport (stock)?

I've driven with and without back to back and I'd suggest the difference is marked
However, it's mainly the sound inside the car as the non sports exhaust car still sounds great in tunnels
There's a couple of guys on here that have upgraded to akropovic or milltek, so there may be a deal to be done on their old systems
Failing that, try Doug at MRC or Glen at revolution
to see if they can broker a deal on any upgrades their facilities make to customers (remember most people only keep the Audi system after to upgrade to return when selling on)

Okay thanks. The sound inside is as important as the outside sound for me. Driving and listening to sound is half of the experience. :D
Better get sport exhaust. Can one really add another stock option to the car without voiding the warranty?

I will have a brand new sports exhaust available off my B8 when it arrives in June.

Happy to do a swap plus cash for your std system and we'll fit it for free if you make the trip up north too!

Thanks for the suggestion Glenn but I'm not living in UK. We don't have any good forums where I live and this is the best English speaking one I came across.

I wouldn't have paid for it separately now I have it. I got it as part of the sports package we get in the UK.

Glenn, how much is a mates rate Milltek for a B8 RS4? :)

Does the OEM sports exhaust split in 2 or is a one-piece system??

Cheers

just had a look out the back of our store and there's 4 std B8 exhausts lying there....

defo no join and doubt you could split it due to the shape of the pipework

hope that helps
