Exhaust options

Deposit has been paid and the car should be with me in the next week or so.
When I drove the test mule I was a little disappointed with the exhaust note. Has anybody here upgraded their exhaust? I have a 6 month old child so I would like the option of keeping a sensible tone for when I need to travel sensibly but would like a more aggressive tone for when I don't.
I have looked at the supersprint xpipe, does anybody have any experience with this or similar?

Done ca 35000km now, in my b8, was brand new, what i experience it sounds a lot more now than when it was new. Standard exhaust. I think it sounds absolutely great!
Waiting now for my c7, gone for sports there though!

Has your car got the sports exhaust fitted?

Get a Miltek, the difference is amazing from std sports exhaust.
give revolution a call and let them explain it out to you theirs a huge choice but in reality there's Miltek or Ackrapovic.
one is £1800 and the other is £4900.
just my 2p worth.

George.
just reread your first post, with the Miltek if you have the car in normal mode its quite a normal exhaust sound not to extreme this only changes when you put the car into dynamic or individual mode. so if your worried about your kids or neighbours, this exhaust is fine. you'll love the down changes in dynamic mode though.

Look at a custom exhaust, go cat back but retain the stock back boxes. Millteks quality is questionable at times.

I have had a custom exhaust from JP exhausts on an Evo, it was excellent. I don't know why but messing with an Evo seems less risky than messing with an RS.
I'd defiantly want to keep the stock back boxes so I retain the option of comfort or dynamic modes. It's "only" £550 for the super sprint mid section so it seems like good value if it gives a louder tone. I'm just concerned that in comfort mode it won't be quiet enough for when family duties call.

If I could work out how to upload a picture I would show you but I have just taken delivery of a super sprint xpipe. Quality looks very good........ I just need a car to put it on. Bring on 3rd March!
