Just negotiated a pretty decent deal on an RS4. Big thanks to Abys who helped me improve the deal which I had on the table!!

I think Missano is awesome, but reckon that I'll go with Daytona, purely because Missano was a resale problem on the B7.

Would you guys go with your heart or your head??

Are you keeping long term? If so go with heart. If not and resale is a consideration, personally I'd avoid red.

Well I went with misano red and think it's stunning, you need to ask yourself who are you actually buying the car for , yourself or the potential next owner.

I find it very hard to believe that a red car is going to be worth less than a equivalent Daytona grey one, different if you decided that it was going to be barbie pink with white leather seats and pink piping

You never know but when you come to sell red may be the colour to have ala white over the last few years.

If it was me I would go red, I wish my RS 5 was red with black optics.

I was just about to place that order, do you think the pink piping is too much? will it hurt come resale time?

I think Misano really suits the B8, whereas on the B7 I personally felt it looks iffy (on the avant anyway)
I've not see a bad colour on the B8 as yet

i would agree that Misano really suits the B8 and if its a long term car then go with your heart.

But just consider that the cheapest 13 plate B8 currently for sale is Misano and is several £1,000's cheaper than anything else.

There is no way the paint colour is affecting the value that much, I worked in a garage for over ten years are never once did that even come into consideration, even for the two years at Mercedes some of their dubious e class colours made no difference

Really? I'm sure someone on here was saying the other day Fontain wouldn't take his red B7 because of the colour

A lot of dealers won't take cars for a lot of reasons, it doesn't mean they cant be sold for good money

My R8, Sytner wouldn't take it in px to retail themselves cos of the mileage and so offered me CAP £52k yet I had a firm private offer of £63k which I rejected and Birmingham Audi have an identical car with more miles listed for £67k...

The red coup? Was about 40,000 miles wasn't it? 63k is a very good price!

'No' as in you are talking about the black Spider? Thought you still had it! Mileage wasn't that high?!
