After four and a half months wait here are a few iphone photos taken at the delivery area of my dealers.

A massive thanks to Gareth Davies at Al Naboodah Audi Dubai, Robert at Prodent Middle East for applying the Gtechniq products late into the night with a team of helpers just to meet the tight deadline and to my friend Kenneth Wong for the photos.

Keen amateur friend of mine, definitely from an iPhone (you can see the reflection of the phone in the engine bay shot), the images were messaged to me via Facebook whilst we were in the delivery area.

The 'full monty' photographs taken on his Leica camera with touch-ups will follow in the next day or so when I get them.

Can't wait to see the full monty shots!

Think I saw you on the Ranches roundabouts earlier this week - either that or someone has an identical car! Looked stunning anyway, colour is great in the sun here. Am also in the Ranches - would love to have a closer look at some point.

That wasn't me, I only collected the car last night. The car you saw was probably Audi Middle East's press/fleet car.

Happy to arrange a catchup to see the vehicle at some stage, a bit difficult until mid-November as I will be travelling.

Matt, love your car, congrats! Gareth D at Al Naboodah told me about your order a few months ago and I saw your immaculate B7 for sale on Dubizzle. I've been eying a new RS4 B8 since they were launched but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on a car I had neither driven or even seen in the flesh before waiting 6-9 months for it to arrive. That is until I popped into Ali & Sons whilst in Abu Dhabi this week only to find that not only did they have a Sepang Blue demo but cars in stock! After a 30 min thrash around the Corniche in their fleet car I was handing over my credit card and thinking what I was going to tell the wife! I'll take delivery next week of what I believe is the only Ibis White (currently) in UAE!

It's not "exactly" the spec I'd order from the factory but from the choices they had in stock, it's very close. Pretty much every option ticked; Sport pack, V-Spokes, exhaust, Dynamic Ride, MMI Nav, B&O sound, pan roof etc. The only thing I'd maybe have different is the Black Optics pack , but that's not enough to wait 6 months for. Happy enough with the deal, which included a years insurance, 3 year warranty and 5 year service plan.

I believe Ali & Sons have delivered 3 or 4 in Abu Dhabi, a couple of Daytona's and Misano Red's and the Sepang fleet car is booked already, on top of the few cars in Dubai from Al Naboodah. It will be nice to have something pretty rare (and stealthy) on the roads here!

Because if you've got a crackberry like me, I'd be better of drawing it with a crayon
