Well after 6 ½ years of phantom black B7 ownership I finally let her go, it felt awful like I was giving up a small child or my favoured dog, just a bad day.
But a rush of blood to head all the same.
43500 miles of pure pleasure, was gone. Best go home and let the wife know.
That was last Saturday so now what?
Well once the cheque had cleared lets start to look around, that lasted a about 1min I knew what I wanted (RS6 135K of pure indulgence) really another RS4! Off to Audi we went so what’s on offer. I had a 68k car in my mind with a hole load of options ticked.
So what’s available??? Nothing with the spec I wanted until January and all the offers well might be off and gone.( yes I thought dealer speak). But if you have this one that already been specked well give you the Audi 5k plus 3.5k dealer discount. Ummmmm. Now that’s got me thinking.
Not really what I had in mind but that’s a hell of a lot of wonga off. Ummmmmmm.
Another rush of blood to the head, Sold.
So what did I end up with:-
Ibis white
Black styling pack
Black roof rails
Door mirrors – electrically folding auto dimming
Heated front seats
Phone prep with high connect
Bang and Oulfsen sound system
Privacy glass
Reversible load floor mat
Sports pack
Storage pack
Teck pack advanced
Tracker
Oh buy the way if you don’t tick the carbon engine trim from the factory £400, if you then think no. ill get that from the parts dept later on 1800+vat ouch.

So now the wait bah hum bug.

George.

Nice one George.

Have always thought white with black optics B8s are crying out for black or white mirrors too - they offer body coloured mirrors on some other models like the S6 but not the RS4
