After 6 long months my car has arrived in the UK.....
It should be at the showroom within the week then just prep and she's all mine

Congratulations! I am only 4 weeks in to my waiting period, and from this Tuesday the wait gets even worse, the new owner of my current B7 RS4 will be coming to collect it.

So, from Tuesday, I will be driving a 2.0 litre Renault Safrane for the next 5 months approximately (don’t ask!! It’s a rental vehicle that is on special offer)

Just think how incredible your new RS4 will feel though. I drove my B7 to collect my B8 (I'd PX'd it) and the difference isn't huge between the two, but with five months of a 2ltr Safrane under your belt, that B8 is going to feel like a beast

I have an A7 S-line Black Edition as a loan car at the moment from the dealer as my car was due June 28th. I have to say I'm enjoying it even though it's not the sort of car I would ever think of buying. Love the head up display, shame it wasn't an option on the RS4.

I agree re the heads up display. My wife has a BMW 328i Motorsport with HUD and it is very good. I definitely would have speced my B8 RS4 with it if it was an option.

It's strange that more cars don't come with it, as it's not an expensive or complicated technology
