Hi,
has anyone managed to get Audi Connect Services (Google Maps mainly) working by connecting a Samsung Galaxy S4 to their B8?. I spent a while buying, downloading and configuring some RSAP software for my HTC One X only to find out it was incompatible. That phone is due for renewal shortly and it seems the Samsung is one of the only current phones that supports SIM Access Profile out of the box
Thanks
Andy

Is the sim worth doing?
What benefits does it offer?
I've not even tried yet

the sim is ok the google maps is a nice touch but it is a pain that it knocks off the hands free i supose it just a bit gimiky as for the internal wifi not that fast around me but we don't have 4g up here in jockland yet well not north of Edninburgh thats really Englandshire anyway so probably ot worth the hassel from what i can tell so far

That was sort of the conclusion I came to
Having the phone is more important to me than the gimmicks!

Connecting an Android phone to Audi Connect in "Car Phone" profile shouldn't disconnect your hands free.
Is the S4 not allowing you to connect in "Car Phone" profile?
It should, instead make the car into a huge phone in this profile including the data access the Nav needs for Google earth and the other online services like online destinations, city events, weather and news reports through the Audi Connect part of MMI.
4G isn't compatible with Audi connect yet, so it would revert to 3G.
I wouldn't go the separate SIM route due to it disconnecting the Bluetooth hands free.
Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note work perfectly with this FYI.
