Quick question the wing mirror indicators does the whole strip light up as only my inner and outer parts seem to light up

Whole strip on wife's A3.

will swing by Audi tomorrow and get it looked at

Turns out that indicators are working just seem dim compaired to my wifes S3 compared a B8 A4 at work adn his were the same just dim in daylight

I've found they are more visible from the side i.e. perpendicular to the direction of travel (they are to replace the old fashioned side repeaters) and almost invisible from the front. Don't know if that helps?

Yes I went to the dealers and as you say they are brighter from the side so nothing wrong with my indicators
