They seem to be getting them out a bit kore often now as the helpful guys at AUdi Swindon have just let me have there's for the last 4 days after my initial 24hr test drive ;
http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=101305

The car's now on 3,500ish miles and the emgine's loosened off nicely

I can't say this longer drive altered my perception of the car much, although I did get a lot more used to the gearbox and find it very impressive

I'm still preferring my B7 though, and I've just extended the warranty on it for another 12 months on the basis that this summer I'll order my new B8 with a 5-6 months lead time that'll coincide with the warranty running out again
If I could only make a hybrid of the bet bits of my B7 with the bet bits of the B8

Looking forward to hearing how you get on DK. I am hoping to get one out for a few days in the next month or so. The Demo here (from the passing glance I got of it) is quite highly specced.....unusual for NZ.

Still NZ new = 87k pounds :assflash: :drink: :shock:
