Unfortuntaly, getting crap on here is part of the territory. I've been on the wrong end of it a few times myself, so it's only fair it gets passed on
Lovely looking car though, that colour was definitely on my consideration list before I picked Misano for number2 B8
I doubt they'll still be making them when it's time for number 3 or I'd certainly think hard about it. Absolutely my wife's favourite RS colour too
Looking forward to mine arriving as I'm tired of the crampness of the Rs5 I have now

How many miles do you have on it now ? I stacked up the miles in the first week in mine. Are you following the running in procedure or just 'booting it' as the dealer will tell you to do ?

Only have 120 miles (enjoyable miles I might add) clocked up, and as for a run in procedure, gently does it with the odd burst here and there. Not exactly what some advise but I don't honestly think it would do them any harm no matter how we drove them. Just my opinion though and don't really have by evidence to back it up.

Dealer told me that the engine's run in on the dyno, which I know to be true, and to be mechanically sympathetic with it initially whilst everything else beds in, but basically to boot it generally from day one..
As it happens in my last B8, two days after getting it, I had a 1500 mile trip across Europe, most of which was sat at 80 or the motorway, so it had a reasonable run in, but I did boot it pretty hard initially to give it a good 'test'

I parked my RS5 next to my old B8 RS4 in the dealer on Friday, and the B8's such a lovely looking car. In my eyes one of the best proportions of an estate car there's ever been. it has no real crap angles

I'm going to make sure my wife doesn't see any pics of your blue car as she's already giving me crap for ordering a red one. Not that she really every drives it, but you know what chicks are like
