Also..... an early R8 would be a very sensible buy. Drove a manual years ago and loved it. Prices have bottomed out.

Audi offered me the last gen R8 V10 Plus for a weekend and it reminded me too much of the Nissan and surprisingly didn't get my vote

B7s and B8 RS4 will be classics, maybe not in my lifetime lol. 20 years on a normally aspirated V8 will be a rare thing indeed. RS2000s I owned now worth 10 times what I sold mine for.......

Early R8's have aged very poorly on the interior front. Drove one in October last year And it felt like getting into a b7 a4...not good for the price...

Im looking for something new, not brand new necessarily, but new model, new tech...might stick to the rs4 though, b7's seem to bottom out at c.15k, more for a good example, and as you say...could be a classic in future!

Good choice, great colour. I've recently made the move to Porsche albeit from a B8 S4.
