Thanks riv and carsarecool. So...

Its a bit out there!!! Ive ordered a mythos black ltd edition, with red rims, red inserts on the seats, stitching etc. with pan roof, audi connect, advanced key, heated seats, adv tech pack.

This thing maybe toooo bling, but then hey - why not eh? First fast car in years and years. I can't wait!!!!!

Definitely an rs4 marmite edition!!! Chuckle

To be fair if you do dislike the wheels after living with them for a while they are only a refurb away from any colour you like, so no biggy really. Enjoy the motor when it arrives and get some pictures posted when it does.

That'll look cool. Swindon Audi had a tts in recently in black with the red trim wheels, and it looked very good

Thank guys, yeah this is what i figured, i absolutely LOVE some of the combos out there, nardo - cool, i love sepang, suzuka and missano. I'm just lucky i suppose to have bought in at the end of rs4 which has offered up some other mixes!! Theres lots of them coming through though - but on a dealer by dealer basis.

It was either used funky mix - save £10k or do a deal on a new ltd.

Either way, i bought it for the engine and gearbox. The power delivery is just linear, and having owned a 911tt for 4.5 years, rs6/rs4 b5 before - i'm certain there isn't a torque issue, this thing pulls like a train - and if i have to drop it a few cogs on that lovely paddle gearbox to do it - then heck why not :-)

This engine felt to me a more useful than a turbo'd car - don't get me wrong i LOVE turbos, but the rs4 just felt amazing.

Can't wait to join you on the daily experience!!!

Photos when it arrives!!!
