It took its time. Thought about running three to see if I could offset the steering issue :)

Hahaha! Tyres seem to take less time to 'run in' nowdays, but take it easy to start with bud! :thumbs:

I have to keep reminding myself I have absolutely no traction control system 'safety net' whatsoever in my B5.....

Looks great Graeme, go easy on the Conti's to begin with, as they take a good few hundred miles to scrub in. Once done, they'll be good fun.

Unlucky. Still, less damage than my uncles B8 which has just been written off - 19k repair estimate! Thankfully he's absolutely fine.

It was riding on RS246 sourced winter wheels, with the summer wheels that came with the car stacked safely in his garage. So least he gets to keep the best set of alloys. The summer tyres needed replacing before going back on in the spring, so he will buy a new set of winter tyres instead for these alloys. I've helped him source a replacement car, test driving it soon after Christmas, potentially could be a deal to be done - no px and it being year end.....
