Guys we were at ADI last year (QST's stand) with the first blown RS5 which is obviously exactly the same setup and we should be back with it this year.
In the meantime anyone seriously interested and wanting a ride in a blown B8 contact Kim @ QS Tuning or myself.

Revolution, will be interesting to see if APR actually stick to a time line. They've been promising the RS5 and B8 S4 kit for the past 18 months over on A5OC, the last update I saw Arin write when those waiting got a tad pissed was 'Supercharger project is currently on hold for several reasons. The project is a massive resource hog. That's about the only good reason I can give.'
This one's not as easy as the likes of the B7, S5 and R8 especially when there's no off the shelf alternative high pressure fuel pumps for the B8's :bigblink:

Hopefully your rs5 will be at the workshop on Wednesday, as my car is booked in at QST for the springs to be fitted :beerchug:

Yes i hear they can run behind on cars...B8 S4 kit was either finished or finalised when i was there...
Re fuel pumps, i did see their build and test station for their own fuel pumps, they use the std housing (same manufacturer as audi use) but i got a close up as to whats changed internally and each and every one is tested to 4bar which was impressive too..
Certainly not complaining over the power delivery of their R8 kit....it was impressive - guess it will be interesting to see how the power and price compares to the PES kit!

I think the 4 bar would be the low feed coming into the pump from the tank.
That pump is chucking out 118bar ;)

Interesting Revolution, we are using the same pump specialist that the likes of Heffner and Underground Racing use to produce the pumps for the silly horsepower r8 and lambo twin turbo kits. The precision these pumps have to be manufactured at is amazing!

Like you say will be interesting to compare PES vs APR but I suspect as they are ready on the S4 we' ll be doing it on that long before the RS's.

I stand corrected, but meant to say that they were tested to double that of stock units...or so i was told that 2 bar pressure incoming..
