I understand but he hasn't been let down before with delivery dates and I would have thought that given the amount of cash (not finance) he spends each year he should deserve some kind of loyalty and honesty (from Audi??).

All we can do is wait...
Don't think the cash vs finance makes any difference to the dealer, in fact the dealer would favour finance!

^^ all that happens is VWFS (or whoever) pay the dealer and the debt moves to the finance house

makes no difference to the dealer

oh, and the dealer earns more money from finance commision, and has a greater likelihood of retaining the customer for service or repeat purchase

so ... cash vs. finance

If I were a dealer, it would be the latter

Well I hope the RS4 doesnt die on its feet like the RS5 has. Audi are advertising 7k dealer contribution on the RS5 and thats without haggling.
Heres hoping next year we can get a new RS4 for not far off what the B7 cost.

It'll be interesting to see if he gets his car when the dealer says as it is supposedly being debuted at Geneva on March 8th so good luck getting his car by end of Quarter 1 next year some 22 days after that.

Anyone else put down a deposit...guess these are going to be 55k+

I would have expected more so called "leaked" pictures in the press by now.

It will be interesting to see what power it has when its launched.

I'm just basing that on RS5 prices and I want nav, big wheels, sunroof possibly buckets, and may even go for the ceramic brake option

I was thinking more like 65k. But hopefully after a year on the market we will see some RS5 esque discounts so shouldnt be far off the B7.
