Sounds expensive
My worry is Audi might say warranty doesn’t cover it as it is general wear and tear if a new back box is needed.
Hopefully something minor or a failed actuator whicchh hi they will change.

Looks like I might need new rear boxes as both valves are stuck/sticking.

Still arguing with Audi re warranty as OEM replacement is £750 each, but question is if I have to pay do I stick to OEM or go after market?

I know it’s personal opinion, but welcome peoples thoughts and view on aftermarket options as I have only heard of Milltek

What's the "quiet" Milltek sounds vs. OEM Sports? Based on YouTube, Milltek is a nice sounding system in general.

So quick update; Audi insisted that the valves in my exhaust were seized and the only fix is £2,000 for two new back boxes and their ridiculously high labour charge to fit it.
Took the car to an exhaust specialist near me who confirmed the valves where seized but then took the system off, stripped the valve mechanisms and thoroughly cleaned and refitted. Result- fully working valves, 2 year guarantee, and a bill for only £250.

So if you have seized exhaust valves these can be easily fixed without needed new back boxes- that is unless you’re looking for an excuse to buy a Milltek!!
