after 16,000 miles and 12 months in a F-TYPE R, I can whole heartedly recommend it, best car I've ever had

but yes, Sports GT rather than Supercar ... BUT, a lot cheaper

That rear wiper gives me a twitch, buggers up the symmetry.
The r8 v10 and the Amg gets are the same. Maybe 5 k in it. I can't afford a new v10 plus. If I could I'd be comparing the gtr Mercedes and others in that price range.

From what I see the v10/v10 plus argument is similar to the 540c/570s save 30k and get the same car...or save 50k and get a year old v10...

Or save all the money and keep the B8!

I would go for this car.

List price with options is c.£115k

Proper special with Ceramics and Forged Wheels, Carbon Roof, Alcantara Interior and classy colour.

Rare and a bargain at half list price with only 10k

I just found my dream car... Search for yours via Auto Trader #DrivenByMe

If I was to buy another this would be it.

I've got x3 Audi's and a BMW on my drive, so I'm not blinkered, but it was genuinely the best car I've ever had...ticked every box and more

Really struggling to find something to replace the RS4 with. Its definitely the best all round car I have owned. However my wifes I3 goes back next month and is being replaced by a Macan so I don't really need to have a two cars that car perform family duties. Once my daughter finishes school in May I'll only need to take my son so my options for something smaller open up. :biggrin3:

I'm hoping the new b9 RS4 will be amazing. My wife's recently got a mark III TTS and I can tell you what, it's an amazing car to drive! Perfect power delivery in normal auto for normal driving, sports is mental and actually does what I want so although I'm still dropping it into manual sometimes it's more habit than necessity. The steering is really sharp with loads of feedback. The suspension is actually set up so both the rebound and compression are actually balanced! Still got a dodgy initial bite on the brakes, but not like the c6 I had!

It's basically everything the b8 should have been! I know everyone is saying they are great and that. And I love mine! But it's not exactly a great drivers car. Manual and caning is definitely fun, but it isn't precise enough to be a proper weapon.

But.... I have very very high hopes for the b8! And I'll most likely be just holding out till that; the b8 does everything and I have a 996 and now a TTS to play in, plus the bikes.

I'm hoping the B9 is under 1,500kg and turbo'd. With proper steering feedback and sensibly setup suspension on each setting. The C7 went the right way from the C6 it seems and the TTS hits the nail on the head. So the B9 should be a stunner if those trends and results are anything to go by!

How much does an A4 B9 weigh? And what is the difference between a B8 A4 and RS4? Should give you s good idea of weight for the B9 RS4.
