Have had the same experience on a roundabout at Edinburgh airport! Bit disconcerting as normally very stable in all conditions. Just got a couple of Michelin ps4s delivered, will be going on to the front on Tuesday so will be int to see the difference from the P0,s. Tyre leader 243 delivered, pretty good price I thought.

Surely brand new PS4S on the front, and worn P Zeros on the back, surely that will oversteer like an E63 on an ice rink??

CSRS - Tyre Leader are only listing the PS4 not the PS4S, can you confirm which variant you got delivered? If they're the PS4S, then the price per tyre is about £20 cheaper than anywhere else and certainly a good deal, as you say.

That Edinburgh airport roundabout under the A8, I have also found to be slippy. Bowled into there in a rental car and it was under steer city.

Sam, just checked label and deff PS4S as like you said these were the cheapest by a fair bit. Bought a few tyres from TL and service and price hard to beat Btw worn P0 on the back and brand new MPSS on the back when it happened Now will be Michelins all round. Will be interesting to see what kind of mileage the Michelins do as only got 6k out of the Pirellis.

What the hell have you been doing to only get 6k out of the tyres? I got 18k out of mine...swapped front to back at 10k...mainly mway miles for me, but still 3x the life! Lol

Just driving around, hardly any motorway, mostly around town and A roads. When I changed the rears they were pretty slick! The front prob had 2.5 mm on them at that time. I put it down to the soft Pirellis, on my b7 got 15k with the sessantas which I thought was pretty good. The Rs3 goes through front in about 8k.

And the annoying thing with the RS3 is that you cannot even swap front to back

Only if you went for optional wider fronts, otherwise the standard configuration has same size front and rears.
