Are you going to Stratford Audi or Birmingham??
I'd recommend Stratford cause Brum are a bunch of idiots. Ask for head tech Jack (At Stratford) and tell him Chinese Eddie recommended you if you like. What Jack doesn't know ain't worth knowing.

Correct...well...actually it's 2 new gearboxes in 7k miles as of collecting it yesterday.

To be fair, the centre differential failed on the first which is part of the gearbox and the first replacement (gearbox #2) never felt or sounded right. Apparently #3 is good to go, so tomorrow I have the joy of doing 500+ miles and seeing if the issues are fixed - fingers crossed.

None of my problems were similar to the OP's gearbox problems though? I reckon that I have virtually written off my car with the value of warranty work lavished upon it.

If you got a discount with either MRC or Unit 20 then I'd consider my sexuality, but not for a Stealer.
On a positive note, good to hear there's a good Stealer out there and not too far away. How did you get round to trying them out Eddie? Just through work?

Nah mate. I was in a bit of a rush. The Mrs and baby were with me and Bab's needed feeding while I was trying to look at a B9 avant for size. I hadn't realised the workshop had moved around to the other end of the building and I didn't have time to wonder round to spy the Hulk.
