Doesn't sound the same with a HFF in place though..... and gains are gains. I would never have bothered with anything from MRC QST etc, pointless imo. But the Cap zorst & air filter change has made a nice enough change for my liking.

Why don't you just give them a decent clean?
just seen this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlMR0PBOQ38 and this is why i change them instead of cleaning looks like a real faff

i hear what your saying about the |OEM filters but in my head the IGT are a better product and i always put in the best i can afford in to any of my cars be that petrol tyres etc

I've seen it and done it. It's not a faff at all. IMO it's all part and parcel of loving the car....

Does anyone on here have the eventuri intake ???? Not the fake skinned one ! It may be £1800 or so but if the claimed hp gain of around 16 bhp is plausible then I think it would be money well spent ! Decent gain for these n/a cars ! With my capristo would surely be easy 20 hp

Covered this before on another thread. Truth is our cars will vary up to 20ps even between runs as proved again this weekend just gone so it's all kinda moot. Oh and carbon build up within a year of cleaning.

Agreed. Save the pennies for something worth while.
